Fifty Shades of Nay

“It’s perfectly natural for me to love fashion and literature in equal measure. They are the same. They can hold a mirror up to society, transform and conceptualise a culture, provide escapism or record history. Most of all, they’re both fairytales. They can show the world for how it is or, more interestingly,  for how it ought to be. It’s dull and unimaginative to suggest that wearing expensive clothes and designer shoes means one cannot have read their way through a couple of libraries.”
